The contract value of the consortium has a volume of approximately €270m.

For this project, Siemens Mobility will design, supply, install, test and commission the power supply system for CRL which will include, three intake stations supplied with 66kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) intake transformers, a 22kV Medium Voltage System, (MVS) with 22kV GIS panels and service transformers, and a 1500V DC system with DC panels and double converters.
Condition Monitoring System and Intelligent Fault Isolation System (iFIS) are also provided for enhanced performance management. The CRL power supply system is designed with proven modular features that facilitate future upgrades, allowing seamless integration and better interface connectivity between the power supply and signalling systems, for more sustainable and cost-effective operations overall. The CRL will be fully-automated and driverless ready, enabled by the digital technologies provided by Siemens Mobility’s signalling and power supply systems.
